Thinking About Indie Publishing? 5 Questions You Need to Answer First
Indie publishing offers authors more options than ever. But with those options come a lot of decisions: How do you know if indie publishing is right for your book? What does it take to produce a professional-quality book? Where should you publish, how will readers find you, and what do you need to know about the business side?
In Thinking About Indie Publishing? 5 Questions You Need to Answer First, bestselling author, award-winning editor, and indie publisher Janyre Tromp breaks the process into five key questions every writer should consider before taking the plunge. You’ll get a practical, big-picture look at the indie publishing process, learn where to focus your time and money (and where not to), and leave with a roadmap and resources to help you take your next steps with confidence.

About Our Speaker
Janyre Tromp is not only a bestselling historical novelist, she’s also an award-winning nonfiction and fiction editor with 30 years of experience in the publishing industry. For most of her career, she worked in-house for traditional publishers in a variety of roles including acquisitions, editing, marketing, subsidiary rights, and management. However, in the last few years, she has also branched out into working with Indie authors.
Because she’s so passionate about helping authors at all stages and places, she started an Indie author services company called Ember and Vine Press with another veteran editor and author Julie Cantrell. As a sought-after workshop presenter Janyre adores working with writers and equipping them to make their books the best they can be.
